Families Remain Exposed After Losing Their Homes

By Joy Ojochogwu Etubi | Project Leader

Dear Donors,

We sincerely thank our donors for their generous support toward the Restore Homes for 50 Displaced Christian Families project. Your kindness brings hope to families who long to return to safe and stable homes. However, the donations received so far are not enough to begin the rebuilding work. We respectfully appeal for additional support so this project can commence.

Many displaced Christian families in north central Nigeria are living in temporary shelters made from tarpaulin, scrap materials, or damaged structures. Their homes were destroyed during violent attacks, and they lack the financial means to rebuild. Without proper shelter, families remain exposed to harsh weather, insecurity, and difficult living conditions.

The loss of a home affects every part of daily life. Children sleep in unsafe conditions, and parents face uncertainty about their future. With farms destroyed and income lost, rebuilding independently is not possible for most families.

This project will provide essential building materials such as roofing sheets, doors, windows, and wall repair supplies. Local builders will work alongside families to restore their homes. Each completed house will give families a safe place to live and begin rebuilding their lives.

A restored home provides protection, stability, and renewed hope. Families will be able to live in safer conditions, and communities can begin to recover and regain strength.

Although we are grateful for the donations received, more funding is required before construction can begin. We kindly invite additional donors to support this effort so these families can return to proper homes once again.

Sincerely,

Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
