Access to clean water and proper sanitation remains a challenge for many communities in Aceh, especially in areas affected by water shortages, inadequate infrastructure, and poor sanitation conditions. This project provides sustainable solutions through wells, deep wells, mobile water supply, water piping systems, and improved sanitation facilities. By ensuring access to safe water, we help prevent disease, improve health outcomes, and create healthier living condition.
Many families in Aceh continue to face limited access to clean water and adequate sanitation facilities. Contaminated water sources and poor hygiene conditions increase the risk of waterborne diseases, particularly among children and the elderly. In some communities, residents must rely on unsafe water sources or travel long distances to obtain water for drinking, cooking, and daily use. Without reliable water and sanitation infrastructure, health risks and daily hardships persist.
This project will improve access to safe water and sanitation by constructing wells and deep wells, providing mobile water distribution, installing water piping systems, and supporting WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) improvements. These interventions will help communities access clean water closer to home, improve hygiene practices, and reduce exposure to preventable diseases caused by unsafe water and poor sanitation.
Reliable access to clean water and sanitation will help reduce waterborne illnesses, improve public health, and enhance the quality of life for families in Aceh. Children will be able to grow up healthier, families will spend less time searching for water, and communities will become more resilient to future water challenges. By strengthening water and sanitation infrastructure, this project creates lasting benefits that support healthier and more sustainable communities for years to come.
