Restore Safe Water for Degehabur Families

Access to safe and reliable water remains an important concern for families in Degehabur, Ethiopia. East Action Organization (EAO) launched the “Restore Safe Water for Degehabur Families” project on GlobalGiving to mobilize support for the rehabilitation of a damaged community water system and improve access to safer, more reliable water.

The project is currently in its early fundraising stage. We are grateful to the first donors who have supported the campaign and to everyone who has helped share the project with wider networks. While the resources raised so far are not yet sufficient to carry out the planned rehabilitation at the intended scale, this early support is an important beginning.

At this stage, EAO is continuing resource mobilization and preparing for the next steps needed to move the project toward implementation. As additional resources become available, the project aims to support rehabilitation of the damaged water system and strengthen access to safe water for vulnerable families in Degehabur.

We believe it is important to keep our supporters informed from the beginning, including during the fundraising and preparation stage. We will continue to share updates as the project develops and report on implementation progress as activities move forward.
