For over 20 years, armed conflict in Northern Uganda devastated families and left children vulnerable to poverty, trauma, and a lack of access to education and healthcare. This project aims to restore hope and provide sustainable support for 1,000 children affected by the conflict. Through education sponsorship, mental health programs, and livelihood training, we will empower children and their families to rebuild their lives and communities.
Northern Uganda's children are still living in the aftermath of a prolonged armed conflict. Thousands were displaced, orphaned, or forced into child soldiering. Many lack access to quality education, healthcare, and psychosocial support. The region faces high levels of poverty and unemployment, making it difficult for families to rebuild. Without intervention, these children remain trapped in a cycle of poverty and despair.
Our project supports children in post-conflict areas by providing education, mental health, and livelihood support. We will cover school fees, uniforms, and supplies for 1,000 children, and establish counseling programs to address trauma. Community leaders will be trained to recognize emotional needs. Additionally, we will offer vocational training and sustainable farming practices to families, helping children and their communities build a secure and resilient future.
This project will transform the lives of 1,000 children and their families in Northern Uganda. With education, they will have a chance to break free from poverty. Counseling services will help them heal from trauma, while vocational training will empower families to become self-reliant. A restored community with educated, healthy, and skilled individuals will pave the way for long-term peace and development.
