Support teenage mothers in Windhoek through Lidar Community Foundation. Many arrive traumatized, homeless, and without support. Your donation provides safe shelter, hygiene kits, counselling, life-skills training, and urgent care like food and transport. With your help, we can restore dignity, hope, and stability for young mothers and their babies. Every contribution creates real impact - please give what you can and help us share their story.
Each week, teenage mothers arrive at Lidar Community Foundation in Windhoek-traumatized, rejected, and with nowhere safe to go. Many have dropped out of school, face depression, and struggle to meet their babies' basic needs. Lidar offers safety, counselling, and support, but resources are stretched thin. Urgent funds are needed for shelter, hygiene kits, food, and transport to clinics and police stations. These young mothers urgently need care and hope.
This project addresses the urgent needs of traumatized teenage mothers by providing safe shelter, hygiene kits, food, counselling, life-skills training, and transport. These services offer immediate relief and emotional support, while equipping young mothers with skills and confidence to rebuild their lives. With care and guidance, they can return to school or work, breaking the cycle of poverty and creating a more hopeful future for themselves and their children.
This project will help teenage mothers in Windhoek move from crisis to stability. By providing shelter, counselling, and life-skills training, young women gain confidence, emotional healing, and tools to rebuild their lives. With continued support, many can return to school, find work, and provide for their children. Long-term, this reduces poverty, breaks cycles of abuse, and builds stronger, more resilient families and communities.
