Every day, we serve over 3,000 lunches in our kindergartens throughout the slums of Bangkok. For many of these chidlren, a school lunch is their only nutritious meal of the day. We realize this project is not an "emergency." On the surface, it doesn't save lives or solve entrenched problems of poverty. But it does give poor children the strength to learn in our schools and develop as normal children. We have not yet reached our goal at GlobalGiving, as stated in this project: our goal is modest but our ongoing needs are great. We appreciate every grain of rice our friends from around the world are able to provide. Thank you so much for your support!
