Rice for Thai kindergarteners in need

Thanks to Our Rice Project Supporters. I am deeply humbled and grateful to report on the success of the Rice Project, which has been a lifeline for the nearly 1,000 preschoolers attending the 17 Mercy preschools across Bangkok, Thailand.

These young children come from families that face financial challenges. Their parents work so hard, often leaving early in the morning and returning late in the evening, to provide for their families. During these long hours, our schools serve as safe havens, where children are cared for by dedicated teachers who ensure they are well-fed and looked after. Around 15% of these children must wait at school for their parents to pick them up late in the day. With your support for the Rice Project, these children have access to nutritious meals during the extended time they spend at school, ensuring they receive the essential nourishment they need and helping to ease the challenges they already face.

Thanks to your generous contributions, we have been able to provide nutritious meals to these children, offering them not just sustenance but also the love and care they deserve. Your support has made a world of difference in their lives, ensuring that they can focus on learning and growing in a safe and nurturing environment.
