Dear Partners and Friends,
Hoping to find you in good health after a long struggle with covid-19. I know covid 19 is still with us but we have somehow find ways to continue with our lives. We are happy that children in Zimbabwe and in our community were able to learn without disruptions for a full term which ended on the 4th of August 2022. It was a time of recovering lost time, forgotten concepts and reconnecting with friends at school. Children showed a lot of excitement to be back in school to pursue their dreams, play with friends and having a hot meal daily. We managed to provide access to second chance learning to 100 primary school learners and 75 secondary school learners. Attendance was very high this shows that children were ready to be back in class and really missed school.
As a result of covid-19 more and more children are in need of second chance education and your usual great support is needed. They need stationery, school fees, uniforms, food, and examination fees. The project requires furniture, teaching materials, volunteers stipends and admin fees for it to continue.
Kindly invite your friends to support our cause and like our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/chiedzachildcarecentre and also connect with us on LinkedIn for more updates on https://www.linkedin.com/company/75039773/admin/
With gratitude,
