18 Children move from primary to secondary school

By Spiwe Chakawa | Project Leader

Dear Friends,

Thanks to your incredible support, we are proud to share an important milestone for children in Mbare.

18 learners who were once out of school have now successfully completed primary education and transitioned into secondary school. For many of these children, returning to school once seemed impossible due to poverty, family challenges, and lack of school fees.

With your help, they received the support they needed to stay in school; fees, learning materials, and mentorship. Step by step, they regained confidence in their ability to learn and dream again. Today, they are continuing their education at secondary level, a major achievement for children who were once at risk of being left behind.

Several of these students are the first in their families to reach secondary school, inspiring younger children in their community to believe that education is possible.

However, secondary school comes with higher costs for fees, uniforms, and books. To ensure these learners stay in school and to help more out-of-school children in Mbare, we still need your continued support.

Your donation can help keep these students learning and open doors for many more children.

If you believe in giving every child a chance, please consider making another gift and sharing this project with friends and colleagues who may want to support our work.

Together, we are changing the future for children in Mbare.

With gratitude,
The Chiedza Team
