Dear friends and colleagues,

It is my pleasure to reach out to you, hoping to find you safe and sound. I also hope you all got a chance to survive the covid-19 pandemic through  social distancing and or getting vaccinated. We are excited that all children at our centre continued to weather the storm of covid-19, some by social distancing and some got their jab... whichever the case at least all 200 children are safe and sound!

The first term for the 2022 school calendar year was delayed due to covid-19 lockdown --again.. Schools which were due to open in January opened second week of February 2022. At least the children managed to learn the whole term which was shortened from February to the 7th April. The children managed to catch up on lost time, learn continously without unofficial breaks due to covid-19. If the current situation prevails, then 2022 will be a better academic year! The children were happy to be back in school and enjoyed friendships, hotmeals and above all learning. These are the children who dread lockdowns because they once dropped out of school due to various challenges and the thought of not going to school again is unbearable.

For the children to have continued hope in life, is because of your continued support. We kindly request you to continue sharing our cause with family and friends as we need more books, teachers' stipends, food, uniforms, school fees and stationery for the children.

We will keep sharing updates as our project progresses.
