Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is such an exciting moment to come to you with updates. We are where we are because of you, you deserve to know what your donation has done. We are happy to report that the community school supporting children who were out of school to continue with education has moved a notch. After being recognised by the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education as an impactful program and received a registraion, the community school went on to be registered as an Examination Centre. We started with helping 25 learners to sit for their public exams at our centre last year, the good news is this year, we can support as many as 200 from our community to use our facility as an examination centre.
What started as a community study group for 10 children in 2010 has now grown to become a beacon of light in our community!
This was achieved by your consistency and belief in our cause. We cannot thank you enough.
Kindly invite more friends and networks to support our cause. USD100, can keep a child in secondary school for 3 months, USD50 can keep a child in primary school for 3 months. No amount is too little, we need more hands on the deck to buy stationery, build a classroom, buy furinuture, buy equipment for vocational training, buy food, pay volunteer stipends and many more things.
