Dear friends and supporters,
We are very excited to be working on the preparation for this robotics camp with rural youth! This hands-on STEM program will provide practical insights into mathematical principles and foster learning in electricity, physics, and robotics. The robotics camp is scheduled for July 2024 in rural Trinidad, Honduras.
The camp aims to engage 35+ young people (aged 14-18) from low-income, rural communities, empowering them to build robots from electronic waste. The students will build three types of robots: a hydraulic arm, an electric car, and a robotic arm.
We have already raised $2,000 from other sources, bringing us almost to the halfway point! We would love your support to make this initiative a reality.
Kind Regards,
Antonia, Maria Theresa, and the teams at educate. and STEM IN A BOX
