This project will roof a six classroom block at Medie in the Ga West Region of Ghana. Thia will help to provide high quality continual access and critical literacy and numeracy support services to over 400 deprived children from eight communities.
Currently over 400 deprived children are registered and benefiting from the program and services of the Centre. These children are the vulnerable children from eight different communities. However the environment is not aiding teaching and learning. All the natural factors fight the objectives and mission of the organization; Rain, sun, wind and noise distract the attention of the Royals. The worst conditions are during the the rainy season in Ghana which is between May and July.
The six classroom project will provide the Royals with convenient and child friendly environment for learning. These will go a long way to influence the life of these great kids. Each class will have about 50 children who will be sheltered from wind and rain and able to continue their studies. Teaching and learning will be more effective as compared to the current situation. Learning aid and children books will be safe and protected. Finally, both the children and school property will be safe.
Apart from the current 400 children benefiting from these project, over 10,000 children will benefit from these projects in total and the community will be proud of all these elite youth that will be meaningful to the community and the nation at large. Generations of an educated society begins with these beneficiaries.
