In December 2025, the Roots to Fruits – Grow a Sustainable South Sudan Project received USD 180 from GlobalGiving to support tree planting activities. With these funds, 18 seedlings were secured at a cost of USD 7 per seedling. In 2024 we also recieved 140 USD under the same project and the fund has been in our Bank account becuase it can’t enough seedlings after receiving the money in December, we withdrew 140 USD and bought other 18 seedlings from it. This make the total of seedlings to be 36. After the initial procurement for seedlings, the project has a remaining bank balance of USD 68. Planting is planned for the rainy season in April 2026, and the remaining funds will be used to cover transportation of seedlings and fencing to protect the trees and ensure their survival.
