In May 2026, we had the opportunity to visit and monitor the trees we planted during our previous tree-planting campaign. It was encouraging to see many of the trees growing well, demonstrating the positive impact of our environmental conservation efforts.
We also partnered with the South Sudanese Youth Biodiversity Network (SSYBN) and the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) Environment Unit to celebrate World Environment Day on 4 June 2026. With generous support from UNMISS, we successfully planted more than 200 fruit and indigenous trees to promote biodiversity, improve livelihoods, and strengthen climate resilience in local communities.
Over the coming months, we plan to expand our tree-planting and environmental restoration activities across South Sudan. We kindly appeal to our donors and partners for continued financial and technical support to enable us to plant more trees, raise environmental awareness, and contribute to climate change mitigation and sustainable development.
