Summary

Our project is dedicated to improving the lives of 200 underprivileged school children by addressing two fundamental aspects of their well-being: access to essential Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) facilities, and the refurbishment of facility for classrooms to enhance the educational environment. By focusing on these critical needs, we strive to create a nurturing and conducive learning environment that empowers these children for a brighter future.

Challenge

Rural schools lack WASH facilities & classrooms, worsening struggles for families facing financial hardship. Parents, often daily wage labourers, struggle to provide a meal for their children. This leads education to be side lined amidst immediate survival needs. We believe that education is vital to breaking the cycle of poverty and empowering future generations. There are many requests for help and we can't do it alone. Your contribution can make a big difference.

Solution

Schools get WASH upgrades ensuring cleanliness and functionality. This, with potentially improved access to clean water will promote good hygiene practices and reduce illness. We will address inadequate classrooms by converting existing staff quarters into two additional classrooms. These improvements will create a healthier and more comfortable learning space for students and potentially allow for future enrollment growth, empowering the community through education.

Long-Term Impact

This project is an investment in the future of the school children. By creating better learning environments, we equip them with skills to break the cycle of poverty. This initiative tackles immediate needs like sanitation and classroom space, and also equips students with essential life skills for better job opportunities later in life. By promoting equal access to quality education, we're helping to transform the lives of these children and their communities.
