Green Pakistan by supporting 2 Fruit tree for Rural Women Headed Families
AHD planned to help 500 widow women heading their families and no male available for earning purposes in their respective families, about 500 poor families will provided with fruit tree and two fruit tree will be provided to one women headed family. The trees distributed will be Chikku & Mango both trees has tremendous fruit producing capacity and can fill nutrition needs of the said family. The women will be provided with 02 fruit trees can earn income from these two trees.
Two fruit trees seedlings price will be US $ 10 and for 500 total amount US $ 5,000 needed, we are very close to reach 5,000 US $ please hurry up.

AHD Contributing Significant for Environment Conservation in Pakistan
Pakistan is facing worst deforestation; the loss of trees is intensifying the temperature, polluting the atmosphere, and worsening the lives of living beings. According to United Nation, around 10 per cent of total land area of a country should be covered with trees. This limit is quite low in Pakistan; even less than five per cent. After observed these conditions and surveys in rural vulnerable areas AHD feel the requirement to take the step for tree plantation. Since 2004 to till to date more than 400,000 trees have been planted. In order to play a vital role in green Pakistan AHD introduced initiative that is Fuel efficient stove which consumes 50% less wood. More than 65000 cooking stoves have been installed and it saves 325000 kg wood daily from burning. It’s the big contribution of AHD to save the lives from harmful effects of climate and to make Pakistan green with their efforts and initiatives

AHD Model FES Cooking stove brings healthier life for rural women
AHD working in rural families to uplift them towards sustainable environment, since 2004 -2005 AHD adopted and renovated this cooking technology for rural women facing smoke and kitchen blackish and using wood for cooking purposes at their household level before the reach of AHD staff.
The two 02 pictures attached along this report showing how blackish her Kitchen roof and walls and the women cooking meal for her family in high smoke, which leads eyes infection and cough etc due to the use of TRADITIONAL stove.
AHD Model fuel efficient cooking stove brings happier life for women and children to enjoying cooking on AHD Model cooking stove.
