750 Trees planted through Green Pakistan project
AHD distributed 750 trees in the farmers of Lower Sindh for increase in plantation and forestation. The temperature of Pakistan is changing one degree a year! There is growing global consensus that climate change is humankind's greatest threat in modern times and planting trees could help fight Climate change. AHD observed these issues and started the planting trees in different districts. furthermore AHD give the sessions to others for planting trees around the home and property, it helps fight climate change. Trees absorb CO2 and other pollutant particulates, then store the carbon and emit pure oxygen. For these sustainable development AHD helping poor farmers and planted 750 more trees for Green Pakistan & secure of the life of coming generations.

A Successful Tree Plantation made by women at their household level
AHD started tree plantation campaign during the fresh appeal in 2014 since till to date some more than 14,000 trees planted by women at their household level. During the visit of AHD female staff in rural areas AHD team very happy to see the women happiness and tree installed at their household level. The pictures showing one family put Nadi filter unit at the shadow of KIKAR local tree and 2nd family put 3 new trees at house ground floor.
We at AHD confident that during 2018 we will be able to plant some 2000 more trees at household level by local women. The tree plantation will also provide shelter and cool breeze during the hot summer season.
We hope your donations will be used wisely and will help poor ones to install and plant more trees

AHD team implementing different projects in rural communities of Sindh by motivation them to contribute in kind or planting tree or installing fuel efficient cooking stoves. More than 150 families planted tree at their door step and now getting benefits of trees. Rural families planted tree like: Neem Tree, Conocarpus, Kikar and other fruit tree, the tree now providing them with shelter and space to place Nadi filter water unit or animals under the trees.
We at AHD planned in 2018 to encourage rural families to plant more than 500 trees till next quarter. We hope GlobalGiving donors and supporter will enable us to reach out ,ore families in the start of the year 2018.
