Supporting a training opportunity for Rwanda
Project: Rwanda - Save 1 million lives (#59324)
By: DTI Foundation
Dear friends and supporters,
Thank you for supporting this initiative. The project aims to provide one healthcare professional from Rwanda with specialized organ donation and transplantation training through DTI Foundation’s TPM Advanced course, followed by a two-week internship at a Spanish reference centre.
In our June 2026 report, we explained that funding was insufficient to implement the planned training. That is the latest documented implementation status available for this update. We cannot yet report a completed scholarship or internship under this project.
The planned programme combines theoretical learning with practical exposure to donation coordination. Its intended wider benefit is that the participant can share knowledge with colleagues in Rwanda and help strengthen local professional capacity. These are project objectives, rather than confirmed outcomes.
We sincerely appreciate every contribution and your interest in this educational opportunity. Thank you for supporting our mission to improve donation and transplantation through training and international cooperation.
With gratitude,
DTI Foundation
