Routine maintenance and adequacy of our foundation facilities requires significant sums of money and unforeseen expenses often arise that must be addressed immediately. This is the case for the mosquito nets that were installed in the windows of the bathrooms of the children's homes last July.
At this time of the year, the climate is changing and in the area where the foundation is located, due to the humidity and rains, when mosquito bites occur the itching children could transmit some diseases, in addition to generating allergies and outbreaks on their skin.
For this reason, in response to a request from the Colombian Family Welfare Institute and, thanks to your contribution to our project, we were able to install nets to prevent mosquitoes from sneaking through the windows of the bathrooms of the houses where children live, protecting them from the risks associated with these insects.
Thanks to the generosity of people like you, our foundation is becoming a better place for children.

El mantenimiento rutinario y adecuación de las instalaciones de nuestra fundación requiere sumas importantes de dinero y con frecuencia surgen gastos imprevistos que debe atenderse de inmediato. Este es el caso de los angeos que se instalaron en las ventanas de los baños de las casas de los niños el pasado mes de julio.
En esta época del año, el clima es muy cambiante y en la zona en la que está ubicada la fundación, debido a la humedad y las lluvias se presentan mosquitos que al picar a los niños podrían transmitirles algunas enfermedades, además de generarles alergias y brotes en su piel.
Por esta razón, atendiendo una solicitud del Instituto Colombiano de bienestar Familiar y, gracias a tu contribución a nuestro proyecto, pudimos instalar angeos para evitar que los mosquitos se colaran por las ventanas de los baños de las casas en las que viven los niños y niñas que acogemos en CRAN y protegerlos de los riesgos asociados con estos insectos.
Gracias a la generosidad de personas como tú nuestra fundación es cada vez un mejor lugar para los niños.
