Safe and secure spaces for our children

Over the past three months, we have continued working to improve our foundation’s facilities and provide the children with a safe, clean, welcoming, and appropriate environment that supports their well-being and development.

Thanks to the generous support of our donors, we have made significant progress. We have continued maintaining and mowing the grass, helping to keep our outdoor areas clean and safe. We were also able to raise the necessary funds to purchase new playground equipment, replacing the previous equipment, which had deteriorated and no longer provided the level of safety needed for the children.

In addition, we purchased new bed sheets and bedspreads to ensure that the children’s beds are always clean, comfortable, and ready for them. We also completed an industrial deep cleaning of the kitchen and painted the walls with special paint suitable for areas used for food storage and preparation, helping us maintain improved hygiene and safety conditions.

Although we have made important progress, there is still much more to be done. One of our current priorities is to carry out repairs and maintenance in the children’s homes, including painting and improvements to the spaces where they do their homework and participate in recreational activities, which we call our kiosks.
