Dear donors,
We are excited to share the latest progress from the Paso Grande project! Throughout 2025, we worked closely with the communities of Paso Grande, San Antonio de Copo, Chicle, and Rincón de Esperanza to expand access to safe water.
By the end of December, 86 cisterns were built, along with 30 new roofs for water collection. Connections from the roofs to the cisterns were completed for these 30 new roofs and 45 existing ones, resulting in 74 fully operational water systems. Additionally, 87 piston pumps were fabricated for all participating families, ensuring everyone can access their new systems. Only one cistern and 13 new roofs remain to be finished.
Thanks to your continued support, these improvements are bringing sustainable water access to more families and strengthening community resilience. If you would like to continue helping, your contributions will allow us to complete the remaining systems and celebrate full completion soon!
Cheers!
