Water - Life Saving Water

Kids are so happy to be back in school in Vietnam. The Covid school closures have been lifted. You can hear the sounds of laughing, screaming, delighted children as you near the pre-school and kindergartens in rural Vietnam.
The sun is beating down on the playground as kids run to catch or kick the ball. Then the sound of the drum-beat draws them running to get into line to file back into the classrooms. But as they head to their classes they file by the large blue water container. Their teacher encourages them to get a drink. Each child takes their own cup off the hook and turns the spicket to get the clear, fresh, SAFE, water from the big blue container.
The container is a MEDRIX-provided Life Straw Safe water dispenser that will fill 500 cups - that is 500 children can quinch their thrist from this nano-filtered container. The container can be refilled, filter and dserve another 500 cups over and over again. What a gift of life and health!
We at MEDRIX must thank you our donors for helpinig us provide safe water filtered systems to pre-schools and kindergartens in rural villages in Vietnam. You gift today will be health and good conditions for many children in these rural villages.

Safe H2O & Education Takes on Global Virus

The rain is steadily falling here on the West Coast of the USA. Our winter is not yet completed – and news of the Covid19 continues to circulate. Shelves in the stores of empty of toilet paper, paper towels, sanitary wipes and hand-gel. Of course, all persons are concerned: Thus, it goes in a first world country where information is mostly easy to get and easy to discriminate. The Center for Disease Control (CDC) is globally reporting the concerns of this growing and pervasive virus.
In the mean-time, across the world young children are kept home from school, as the virus is also altering their young lives. The CDC and health departments in Vietnam are active in the small villages and the even smaller hamlets. MEDRIX has been working with the rural departments of the CDC in the Central Areas of Vietnam for years by providing life-giving safe water for the kids and health and hygiene education for their teachers and village leaders. We applaud our partners there for their good work in trying to curb this invasive virus!
The challenges in a first world country are huge, and possibly even more daunting in an emerging country. You can be a part of the success of story by donating today to the “MEDRIX Safe-Water and Health Education” projects. Children will be provided safe water for their schools and preschools. Teachers will be provided with global life saving educational health and hygiene updates. Young lives will be saved, and adults will become empowered to win the battle against the spread of diseases in their communities. Thank you for your donations! Schools, kids and MEDRIX water projects –
My choices for today’s topic are two: 1) either I bore you with technical details about the MEDRIX nano-filtration water treatment, or, 2) I show you some of our “customers”, the kids who drink safe water from our systems. Can I have a show of hands for your choice? OK, I see that you picked option #2. Let’s see some photos, you say.
Our MEDRIX team traveled to rural areas near the sea coast and then into the mountains of Nam Dong district. All told, we delivered ten new water treatment systems to schools.
The photos attached are “just kids” being kids at lunch break.
The fourth photo is the technician assembling the new, larger system MEDRIX is testing this year. You can see that he has several assistants ready to help if he has an difficulty.
