This project is our Annual Silent Auction, which is our big fundraiser that helps us to continue our financial support in maintaining and sustaining The Ishahayi Beach School and Ife Oluwa Primary School.
This project will help us resolve issues that we encounter at the school in the upcoming year, and also to ensure that the children are being fed. We are educating children in an underserved area; giving them access to education so that they can have a better opportunity in the future. We not only provide education but also provide transportation by boat, and also ensure that all our students have one healthy meal a day.
This project will help ensure that we have all of the tools that we need to make certain that the schools continue to function so that the students can receive a proper education that will lead to the eviction of poverty in their areas.
The Light School currently educates around 200 children. As the school adds grade levels and draws additional children, we see our reach and impact increase. The village respects the work of the Light School and our efforts are raising the educational standard of the entire community.
