Sailability Belgium, currently operating at 6 different locations in Flanders with 18 G-sailing boats, has been contacted by an interested water sports club on the Belgian coast to assist, technically and materially in cooperation, in creating a G-sailing hub, for people with mental and/or physical disabilities.
Covid-19 has put many sports clubs in financial difficulty, making it difficult or impossible to realize plans for new project. Despite the ambition of the local club or demand for it in the local region. Sailability themselves currently required to keep their funds available to continue their current operations and fleet maintenance. New investments are not justified at this time.
All sailability's boats and accessories are currently deployed at their existing hubs and cannot be missed there because of the growing memberships. Additional revenue can thus the new investments possible and to realize this opportunity. A complete set: 1 x Hansa boat, 1 x people-crane & accessory, is therefore necessary. With that becomes G-sailing on the lake, by the see, also visible.
An opportunity like this, being a strongly interested club with the ambition to launch a G-hub, is not to be neglected by Sailability. A G-sailing hub by the sea is in particular an added value to all Sailability members, who are visiting the coast, the opportunity to work on their mental and/or physical condition. Moreover, it is an excellent showboard, on a tourist spot, for G-sailing.
