This project report outlines the successful partnership between Hifadhi Organization (HAO) and the Port Orchard Rotary Club, facilitated by a site visit to Natan in East Pokot. The collaborative efforts of these organizations, along with contributions from the GlobalGiving platform, have enabled the initiation of the sand dam project in Natan.
Introduction:
In pursuit of sustainable water management and community development, Hifadhi Organization organized a site visit to Natan in East Pokot. The Port Orchard Rotary Club, representing a committed group of individuals dedicated to community service, actively participated in the visit. This collaboration marked a significant step towards addressing water scarcity in the region through the construction of a sand dam.
Partnership Success:
The partnership between Hifadhi Organization and the Port Orchard Rotary Club was pivotal in securing the initial funds required for the sand dam project in Natan.
