Project Update: Sanitary Pads for Girls in Malawi
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to our fundraiser so far. Your support brings us closer to addressing a critical challenge faced by many girls in rural Malawi. Each month, secondary school girls miss valuable class time because they cannot afford sanitary pads. This affects their dignity, their confidence, and ultimately their education.
Our goal is to begin producing reusable sanitary pads locally and distribute them for free in secondary schools. These pads are sustainable, affordable to produce, and far more reliable for girls who cannot buy disposables every month. Once we reach our funding target, production can begin and the girls will finally have access to a long-term solution.
We are still below the required amount, and we kindly ask for your continued support. Every contribution helps us move closer to ensuring that no girl’s education is interrupted by lack of menstrual supplies.
