We have proposed to construct a new eco-friendly Home for our children. For this purpose, we plan to build a new eco-friendly building (by using sustainable Architecture) on the existing campus of Friendship Children Home in the village of Siruganur, Tiruchirapalli District.
This proposed eco-friendly building will have one block, which will have ten rooms from the ground floor & to the first floor. Where we are planning to construct two rooms for girls and two rooms for boys, one kitchen, one library, one dining hall which will be on the ground floor of the building around (2265 sq. Ft) and two storerooms and one office will be constructed in the first floor of the building (795 sq. Ft), and also there will be separate toilets for the boys and girls.
The building, which is dedicated to parentless, at-risk, and disadvantaged children, will accommodate around 30 boys and 30 girls each. The entire building will be built with the future provision of adding floors to each block and will be constructed by using the sustainable architecture of an eco-friendly building.
The office room will be constructed on the first floor of the building for administrative purposes. The office will have departments such as Fundraising, Accounts, Donor relationship services, catering, etc. And adequate staff will be appointed to ensure the smooth functioning of the Friendship Children Home.
