Save 200 Children From Sex Trafficking in Delhi

By Nisha | Project Leader

Dear Global Givers,

We extend our heartfelt thanks to you, our dedicated supporters, for your commitment to our mission of combating child trafficking and rehabilitating vulnerable children in Delhi. At present, the shelter home is supporting 44 children from the harrowing realities of trafficking, many of whom come from the city's red-light districts. Thanks to your support, we have been able to expand our anti-trafficking efforts to key areas such as bus and railway stations, where traffickers often prey on the most vulnerable.

Your contributions have made it possible for us to meet the essential needs of these children, providing them with much-needed education, nutrition, and medical care. With your help, we have been able to ensure that these children have access to nutritious meals, necessary medical treatments, and the educational resources they need to build a brighter future.

Since the new academic session began last quarter, we have been focusing on reintegrating the children into their educational routines. Many of these children, having missed crucial time in school due to their past traumas, are now receiving the support they need to catch up academically.

With your generous contributions, we have provided school supplies, textbooks, uniforms, and other essential materials to ensure that every child is prepared for the school year. The children have shown remarkable enthusiasm and dedication, and we are committed to maintaining this momentum as they progress through their studies.

Understanding the deep psychological scars left by their exploitative environment, we have also prioritised mental health counselling. Regular sessions are conducted to help the children cope with their traumatic experiences, rebuild their self-esteem, and encourage a sense of normalcy in their lives.

While we have made significant strides, the road ahead is long, and we continue to need your support. Sustaining our current level of care requires continuous funding, and we aim to ensure that each child remains safe, healthy, and on a path to recovery. Your ongoing support will enable us to keep providing essential education, nutrition, medical care, and mental health services.

As we continue this vital work, our goal is to meet the basic needs of these children and to offer them a future full of promise and opportunity. We are committed to creating a nurturing environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

With deepest gratitude,

Team iPartner India
