Save 200 Children From Sex Trafficking in Delhi

In Delhi, thousands of children are vulnerable to abuse and homelessness, often falling prey to traffickers who exploit their desperation and innocence. These children are at an increased risk of being forced into labour, exploitation, and even trafficking, making their need for care and support more urgent than ever.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to you, our dedicated supporters, for your unwavering commitment to our mission of combating child trafficking and rehabilitating vulnerable children in Delhi. Currently, our shelter homes are supporting over 100 children who have faced traumatic pasts, including those from the red-light districts and other vulnerable areas. Your generous support enables us to provide them with a safe space where they can heal, learn, and thrive.

Thanks to your contributions, the anti-trafficking efforts have been expanded to key areas such as bus and railway stations, where traffickers often target the most vulnerable. Crucial services like education, nutrition, medical care, and counseling, are continuing to be offered, ensuring these children have the tools they need to rebuild their lives.

A prime example of the impact of your support is Ruchi*(name changed), an 8-year-old girl who came to us after enduring forced child labor. Initially struggling with aggression and social interactions, Ruchi* received individual counseling that helped her integrate into our activities. Today, she is in 4th grade and has earned the ‘Academic Excellence Award.’ She shared, "I really like playing [games and sports]; it makes me feel calm and relaxed.”

In addition to academic and psychological support, the children have been introduced to vocational skill-building classes in subjects like English grammar, tailoring, cutting, and computer skills. These sessions are designed to help them discover their talents and interests while preparing them for a brighter future.

There is also a focus to help these children gain critical documentation and integration into society. More than 50 children have been helped with the identity documentation, which will aid their social integration.

Our vision for the future includes expanding our capacity to care for more children, enrolling them in professional skill development courses, and building dedicated shelter homes to reduce our reliance on rented facilities.

We cannot continue this vital work without your continued support.
