Camila is three years old and is a patient of our Children Hospital San Vicente Foundation. She comes from the department of Cundinamarca, located in the center of Colombia .This loving little girl was diagnosed with ocular cancer and in surgery they had remove her left eye. Months later, she had a spill in her right eye, but our specialists continue to do everything to recover her vision.
Due to her condition, she has developed other senses. Her gratest virtue is singing full of emotion while her family enjoys her beautiful melodies. Adriana her mother, with tears in her eyes says: “my family has been a fundamental support to overcome this situation, everyone loves her”.
Thanks to the medical team of the children’s hospital, to the donations received to strengthen the eye cancer program and families. The treatment of Camila has had important advances. This shows that working as a team can save lives of children who need it.
