Children with cancer need special cancer services to provide comprehensive care. In recent months, with the donations, we have implemented cryotherapy processes with the project "popsicles that give welfare" with a freezer that provides ice cream popsicles that benefit more than 150 pediatric patients. This cryotherapy strategy administers cold products during chemotherapy. It seeks to reduce inflammation and bioavailability of the chemotherapeutic in the digestive tract.
We carried out more than 83 musical, recreational and artistic activities where children had fun and shared with others. We also delivered 4,794 gifts at Christmas. Thanks for your donation. We were able to adapt spaces for their recovery, such as the infrastructure project of public bathrooms for patients and their families, from which 4,000 people have benefited.
Sara enjoys these colored spaces while we take care of her health. She is ten years old and started fighting cancer three years ago. Since she was diagnosed with leukemia, he learns and goes to class at the hospital. Her favorite subject is art because "it is art in itself" Currently, the doctors are scheduling her bone marrow transplant while she waits to get better to return home and go to school as usual.
With your donation, children like Sara helped in 2022. We will continue to work so that children with cancer receive treatments in appropriate areas for their development and human quality. ¡Thank you for believing in our cause!
