The Transformative Power of Solidarity

By Carolina Ospina | Project Leader

In our oncology ward, we attend to brave warriors battling cancer every day. Our 18 hospital beds are always occupied by patients with unwavering strength and determination, while our compassionate team provides care with hands full of love.

At the hospital, we constantly strive to provide the best medical service and unwavering compassionate care. Our goal is for our children to feel completely supported, and thanks to your support, your voice is present in every room. Your contributions have supported fundamental oncology projects, such as kits to treat mucositis, popsicles to make chemotherapy sessions more bearable, and activities that brought joy to our patients throughout 2023.

Your support transcends borders and has become the company that brings joy and hope to every brave heart that walks through our halls. Thanks to your generosity, our patients feel supported in their difficult journey and have the opportunity to enjoy fun encounters that allow them to escape their hospital routine.

With your donations, we were able to celebrate the birthdays of the children in the oncology ward each month in a special way, with decorated cakes, artistic performances, and the company of volunteers who made these occasions memorable. Additionally, thanks to your support, we were able to carry out more than 4 special events in the oncology ward during December, as well as over 30 general activities in the Children's Hospital. On these occasions, the young patients had the opportunity to delight in activities such as the musical show of Luis Alfonso Posada, enjoy the entertainment offered by the police and firefighters, clowns, and artistic performances that filled the hearts of our dear children with joy.

Likewise, your contributions made it possible to deliver over 100 gifts in oncology, which made our patients feel special during the December holidays. Your impact has been truly invaluable, and we are deeply grateful for your continuous support. Together, we are creating smiles, hope, and unforgettable moments for those who need it most. Thank you for being part of this beautiful mission! We hope to continue counting on the transformative power of your solidarity
