Due to Covid-19, the schools have been closed. Since we could not reach out to the children at school, we decided to distribute provisions to their families. During the lockdown, ACT provided the provisions, however we have been able to continue to help the families until September due to the support and donations from our donors and well-wishers.
Volunteering Activities - Provision Distribution
ACT reached out in providing Provisions to the children of Government Tamil Higher Primary School every week, with the help of Senior students, Mothers, Auto and Van drivers. The team delivered the goods to the children at their doorstep. The operation Coordinator collected feedback from parents about the provisions received.
