Help us save dogs like Anabelle! Emaciated and injured Anabelle was wandering the streets of Jericho, dying slowly from an infection spreading in a large wound in her neck. Almost certainly, she was strangled intentionally. Luckily, Anabelle's will to live and the intervention of good people gave her a second chance to lead a life that every dog deserves. She is now recovering from surgery in her foster home, where she is slowly learning that people can be good.
Thousands of homeless dogs wander the streets of the Palestinian Territories. Without comprehensive spay/neuter programs or animal shelter networks, Palestinian citizens attempt to control homeless animal populations by embarking on citizen-led and government-sponsored campaigns to shoot and poison them. Dogs subject to this treatment die in agony.
This project helps fund the treatment of animals who underwent unimaginable abuse. As a small organization, the big vet bills put a strain on our ability to rescue all of the dogs who need our help. By funding the costliest element of our operations, the project not only saves countless lives, but frees up resources that could be used to advocate for a long-term solution to the issue of homeless animals in the West Bank.
Abused dogs who receive timely medical intervention have a chance to lead fulfilling lives. Nothing is more heartwarming than seeing a scared and abused dog blossom into a beloved house pet.
