Summary

No woman should give birth in the dark. No surgery should be carried out by candlelight. And no child should be left vulnerable to disease because vaccines cannot be refrigerated. For too long, a lack of reliable power has prevented people in this remote community, missing out on quality education, once the sun goes down they lack sufficient light for study and Teachers have to teach in darkness due to lack of light. the project would provide solar rooftop to School and health Clinic in Busura.

Challenge

This rural community of Busura village is without electricity access and people excessively dependent on kerosene oil lamp and candles for lightings. This has led to the significant number of children are still missing out on quality education, healthcare because they don't have access to lighting. Teacher usually teach in darkness and clinics unable to function at night due to lack of electricity night time birth become difficult lead to higher maternal and child mortality rate in the village.

Solution

Organization will provide solar rooftop solar system to the primary school, and the Clinic with solar lightnings, The project would also allow the school to introduce computer, improving attendance by students and the quality of their learning, increasing study hours and improving literacy rates and performance in national exams. Solar lighting in Emergency and labor room with solar power to function at night and for night time birth and help retaining medical staff in the village.

Long-Term Impact

your donation to the project would help the school to introduce computers, improving attendance by students and the quality of learning, increasing study hours and improving literacy rates and performance of student in national exams. it would give opportunity for rural women and girls to engage in social activities. Improve women and girls education and safety of women and girls from snake bits at night.Women and children would be able to learn how to read and write and give more time to rest.
