Save Children to get education and food

Raise education Centre is still going strong despite of the hard times of the economy in our country the school was closed on 21/4/2023 after doing the end term exams where by all our learners score good marks due to the feeding program which always bring a conducive learning environment for our learners thanks GlobalGiving and donors at large for their good work. The school was open for second term on 8/5/2023 our learners participated in drama festival up to the provisional level thanks GlobalGiving and donors for their support. This term we have music festival also our learners participated and athletics up to sub county level respectively we thank donors and GlobalGiving for their support in raise education which enabled them to achieve in the co-curricular activities. Grade 3 have started their practical exams for C.B.C Last week Monday on 5/6/2023 and it will last for 2 months .my name is Eugene " not her real name I really enjoyed my life in education in raise education Centre we normally have very balance diet feeding program which makes me perform in my exams compared to my former school I thank GlobalGiving and donors at large for taking care of us in terms of feeding program and also I want to thank the Raise education Centre management.my name is Raphael " not her real name My mother's friend and neighbor brought me here in raise education Centre after my mother passed away last month I didn't have any future for education since I was an orphan and even after my mother's death eating 3 days per meal was a dream, but right now in raise education Centre I really enjoyed good meals break time lunch time and in the evening and very balance diet despite of Being an orphan I really enjoyed life as if my parents are alive now I know I will achieve my dream of become a doctor thanks GlobalGiving and donors for your support at raise education Centre. “my name is Joseph not my real name " I was admitted in raise education last month in grade 4 I really appreciate the institution management and I thank GlobalGiving and donors for providing enough text books and enough desks to make the learners comfortable in class and perform exams compared to my former school where by we did not have desks we were sitting on the floor and also we did not have textbooks at all even for the teachers was a problem I also appreciate GlobalGiving and donors for providing feeding program which makes me come to school every day " we will have mid-term break on 27/6/2023 and we will resume back on 1/7/2023 we will have our end term exams on 2/8/2023 and close the school on 11/8/2023 we still need more support in terms of books and feeding program due to the increasing number of new admission In second term we received 30 new learners from the slum we also need support in assisting our pupils with pairs of school uniform one pair is 19 USD we need 460 pairs we also have a project of building permanent school and buying a land here is the link https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/gift-an-education-make-life-and-change-vulnerable/ .
