Save Children to get education and food

Raise Education Centre still struggle to ensure everything in the institution is on the right track despite of the hard times of economy in Kenya. The school was closed on 11/8/2023 for second term we thank God all our Learner's from baby class to grade 7 and 8 performance in the last exam was really impressing. The all school was above average we really appreciate GlobalGiving and the donors at large for ensuring our learners concentrate in class due to the feeding program and very balanced diet food from break time, lunch until in evening whereby learners are really enjoying meals which make them concentrate in class and finally passed exams. We thank GlobalGiving and the donors at large for the good work they are doing in raise education centre. We also thanks GlobalGiving and the donors to ensure all our learners have text books and sitting in very comfortable desks which makes them to concentrate compared to other schools whereby food,desks and enough text book is a problem. We also thank the raise education centre management for working hand in hand with our donors and GlobalGiving. The school was open on 28/8/2023 for third term we received 25 new pupils from different schools, some of them are here confessing with their testimony; my name is "Joseph " not her real name I have been enroll in raise education centre this term through my neighbor who keep on praising the institution she talked to my mother who is a single parent and finally came here and decided to enroll. I really enjoyed the meals from breakfast , lunch and in the evening we are been given food and fruits where by my former school where I was schooling we were given nothing from morning to evening and when I go back home even at our home we have problem with food we might eat one meal per day but since I was enrolled here am eating good and also my weight has increased within one month and also it gives me moral of not missing school because of food and also it has make me concentrate more in education, now I am very sure I will achieve my dream of becoming a medical doctor. I have been enroll here in raise education centre this term I really thank God for how we are treated here compared to my former school I sit comfortable in class we are been given text books for each subject where by my former school only the teacher hard the text books.we are served every meal with fruits which makes learning very comfortable and give me moral to come to school daily without failing compared to my school where life was hard even I was thinking to drop out, but since I came at raise even I passed the opening exams which we did after the third week even my weight has changed due to the feeding program and enough text books and comfortable classes"I thank GlobalGiving and the donors at large for the great things which they are doing at raise education centre." That is the second testimony out of the 25 pupils whom have been admitted this term, they are very many but I will just give out 3 testimony of which this is last one.my "name is grace" not her real name I have been enroll in raise education centre this term am really enjoying everything in this institution from the teachers up to the feeding program. Since I started learning in different schools I have never get better treatment as am getting in raise education centre.the teachers they ensure you understand what is being taught and if have not understand they call the pupils One by one and teach them private in my former school the teacher only concentrate with the clever pupils but in raise education centre is different the teachers are really working.now I know I will achieve my dream of becoming a pilot. Apart from teaching we are given well balance food and we are sitting in a comfortable desks which makes me concentrate in my studies and also my weight has changed since I have relax I don't have pressure and stress despite my mum being a single parent is not providing me with everything but I get them in school I thank GlobalGiving and the donors at large for what they are doing in raise education centre "God bless you. This are just few but all the 25 new comers they something to say but when you come on the ground and meet with the learners physical they will tell you more.the school will be close o27/10/2023 for end of the year.the end term exams will start on 20/10/2023 for ppl to grade 7 . grade 8 and grade 6 they will sitting for the national exams k.c.p.e ( Kenya certificate of primary education.) Where by grade 6 will also sit for K.p.s.e is a national exam which they will start on 3/11/2023 and the will be also graduation for pp2 , grade 3 and grade 6 Since they will be on transition the ceremony will be on 19 /11/ 2023 at the school primises .our Lerner's went to visit the ship which is selling books m.v Dullous the pictures below .we sincerely thank GlobalGiving and donors at large for doing great things at raise education centre.we still need more assistance interms of food,desks and textbooks we still for the donors to support us and come to the ground and meet with the learners.we also need support in assisting our Lerner's with pair of school uniform one pair is 20 USD we need like 480 pairs.we appeal for GlobalGiving and donors to support us .we also have a project of building permanent school and buying a land and also build a chirden home where our pupils will have a place to call home here is the linkhttp://goto.gg/55806.we thank GlobalGiving and donors for the good work God bless you we also welcome the donors and GlobalGiving to come on the ground and have one on one with the ones you are supporting .

Raise education Centre is still going strong despite of the hard times of the economy in our country the school was closed on 21/4/2023 after doing the end term exams where by all our learners score good marks due to the feeding program which always bring a conducive learning environment for our learners thanks GlobalGiving and donors at large for their good work. The school was open for second term on 8/5/2023 our learners participated in drama festival up to the provisional level thanks GlobalGiving and donors for their support. This term we have music festival also our learners participated and athletics up to sub county level respectively we thank donors and GlobalGiving for their support in raise education which enabled them to achieve in the co-curricular activities. Grade 3 have started their practical exams for C.B.C Last week Monday on 5/6/2023 and it will last for 2 months .my name is Eugene " not her real name I really enjoyed my life in education in raise education Centre we normally have very balance diet feeding program which makes me perform in my exams compared to my former school I thank GlobalGiving and donors at large for taking care of us in terms of feeding program and also I want to thank the Raise education Centre management.my name is Raphael " not her real name My mother's friend and neighbor brought me here in raise education Centre after my mother passed away last month I didn't have any future for education since I was an orphan and even after my mother's death eating 3 days per meal was a dream, but right now in raise education Centre I really enjoyed good meals break time lunch time and in the evening and very balance diet despite of Being an orphan I really enjoyed life as if my parents are alive now I know I will achieve my dream of become a doctor thanks GlobalGiving and donors for your support at raise education Centre. “my name is Joseph not my real name " I was admitted in raise education last month in grade 4 I really appreciate the institution management and I thank GlobalGiving and donors for providing enough text books and enough desks to make the learners comfortable in class and perform exams compared to my former school where by we did not have desks we were sitting on the floor and also we did not have textbooks at all even for the teachers was a problem I also appreciate GlobalGiving and donors for providing feeding program which makes me come to school every day " we will have mid-term break on 27/6/2023 and we will resume back on 1/7/2023 we will have our end term exams on 2/8/2023 and close the school on 11/8/2023 we still need more support in terms of books and feeding program due to the increasing number of new admission In second term we received 30 new learners from the slum we also need support in assisting our pupils with pairs of school uniform one pair is 19 USD we need 460 pairs we also have a project of building permanent school and buying a land here is the link https://www.globalgiving.org/projects/gift-an-education-make-life-and-change-vulnerable/ .
