The new norm in learning

By Nicholas Wanyama | Founder

Female pupil in class
Female pupil in class

Raise education centre has fully engaged all learners after a very long compulsory holiday for nine months due to the covid 19 pandemic .99 % of our Learners are back in school since 4/1/2021 after ministry of education give out  reopening directive. Our pupils are still active in learning and obseving the covid 19 protocols , this is because the teachers have been engaging them through revision papers during corona virus pandemic even other learners from different schools are eager to join our community school.

"In  other schools unfortunately female  pupils  are pregnant and some might not be able to resume to school. I thank all the donors who are working closely with raise education centre and GlobalGiving to ensure we are getting food and and fully support in basic education despite of covid 19 pandemic .My daughter is in class 6 Hafsa Rashid  at raise education center  *(not a really name) and  all her mates within the neighborhood are pregnant and they are not schooling anymore  which is a very sad reality ."  I am glad that my daughter was engaged with virtual learning and now she has resumed to school" Mama Hafsa.

We received some donations last month and we were able to buy food as a stimulus package  and also support the general running of the school to ensure our children access quality education aswell as retaining our dedicated teachers throughout the pandemic era.

We are kindly appealing to our generous donors to continue supporting our children to be able to sustain our education interventions and  feeding program. In addition we would like to purchase diginitary towels to our adolescent girls ,their parents are unable to purchase the towels on a monthly basis due to economic harsh realities brought forth by the pandemic. Your donation will support to  keep hundreds of pupils in school especially the girl child and increase the levels of  academic pathways at  raise education center.

God bless you GG and our able donor's for  standing  with us!
