Our organization is still trying to be stable once again after the covid 19 challenges. Which almost paralyzed the organization, we closed the school last year on 23/12/2022 for the long holidays. This term we resumed on 3/1/2022 for the last term of the academic year. Last term we closed with population of 380. last exams all our pupils in each class they really perform past, pass mark and the mean score .this is because of the feeding program which take cares of the stomach where by the children concentrate with learning throughout. We thanks the donors, and GlobalGiving at large for their support once again. Last term grade 3,4, and 5 they did practical for the C.B.C.this year the same grade 3,4and 5 did National K.N.E.C exams C.B.C in February. We are still uploading the results in the KNEC portal. We also thank the donors and GlobalGiving to support us and ensure our pupils come to school consistence and also the teachers. “I really appreciate the donors and GlobalGiving and also the management of Raise Education Centre to ensure we get decent meals.in my former school we were not given food, am very happy to be in raise thanks to the donors."Swaleh Ibrahim .not his really name. The pupils did mid-term exams on February and also they really score in mean grade. Grade 5 did C.B.C practical of Making Bangles out of sweetwrappers, old banana, plastics straw, coconut bottles tops, the pictures are below. “I thank my mother to enroll me in Raise Education Centre this is because in my former school we did not have text books, we were sitting down on the floor we did not have feeding program .food and porridge was a problem. But here in raise we have food plenty we have textbook to read for us to pass exams and comfortable desks. Which make me enjoy learning C..B.C." Ayub Savula not his really name. I thank the donors and GlobalGiving for their support in raise which makes vulnerable children’s enjoy learning without disturbance. Grade 4 prepare shamba preparation pictures below for practical. Grade 1,2, and 3 did C.B.C implementation of making flowers and for aid kit pictures below. Grade 4 and 5. Did agriculture and art and craft in C.B.C ."Am very happy to be in Raise Education Centre in my former school I have not been registered in the KNEC portal for me to sit in the C.B.C exams .This is because the school did not have resources and also my mother had a quarrel with the management of my former school because of that but in raise education there are resources of C.B.C like laptops and text books and food “I thank the donors and GlobalGiving for their support .this is Mariam Mohamed .but not his real name. We are still appealing request for the donors and GlobalGiving to continue support us with food and also sponsor our children with school uniform and P.E (1pair of uniform goes for 16 USD) uniform where by most of our learners have worn out uniform. “I thank the donors and GlobalGiving and Raise Education Centre for doing good work to the community before I was enrolled here my parents could not afford 3 meals per day but in raise we are given food until we are satisfied that is why am passing exams and concentrate. Thanks to the donors. “Cynthia Auma .not her really name. We are expecting to start end term exams next week 28/2/2022 and close the school on 4/3/2022 .and we are expecting to sit for K.C.P.E for grade 8 on 7/3/2022 which last for 3 days. We are also expecting to resume back to school on 25/4/2022 for first term. We also appeal to our donors to support our vulnerable children during the forthcoming Easter holidays. (5 USD per child will be enough for our children to get gifts for Easter and celebrate). Last year during Christmas holiday our children got support from donors and well-wishers where they enjoyed and celebrate like other people .we thank GlobalGiving and donors at large. “During Christmas Last year I got new clothes I ate good food I went to picnic and beach to enjoy myself "this is comment from, Fredrick Juma. Not her really name. The national council of N.G.O and C.B.O also recognize Raise Education Centre where by it is the board which regulates C.B.O and N.G.O in Kenya. We will have our graduation ceremony for pp2 and grade 3 on Friday 25/2/2022.we were requesting our donors and GlobalGiving partners since we are now allowed to travel from one country to another we are welcoming all our donors and GlobalGiving to our school in Kenya to have one on one with our children . Because they keep on asking when our donors will come to our school so that we can see them coz they got your support but they have not seen you. We thanks the donors and GlobalGiving for their continue support we also requesting the donors and GlobalGiving to support us on Operation cost which is our major challenge due to the high number of children and hiring of staffs and the premises rent. Thanks the donors and GlobalGiving and God bless you abundantly for the good work of changing lives of disadvantages in the community. We are expecting to see you soon physically.
