Save Children to get education and food

Raise education Centre still have a lot of challenges of ensuring our vulnerable children get all they need inform of basic needs and education. Last term the institution was closed on 16/9/2022 with a population of 400 pupils. The pupils thanks GlobalGiving and donors for ensuring they supported them with enough food throughout the term and enabling them to pass exams due to enough concentration in class due to the feeding program we thank the donors and GlobalGiving for their role in Raise education centre.my name is Isaac " not her real name " am very proud and excited to be enrolled in the organization I enjoyed taking tea, porridge and snacks at break time after class and during lunch break we are given balance diet food and fruits. Which makes me study comfortable with my stomach is full all the time and enable me to perform in my exams. My name is Ibrahim" not her real name in my previous school the teachers were very dull and not active in class in terms of teaching like here in raise education Centre most of the teachers were non-performing because of poor working conditions which affects my performance and I fail completely the exams. But in raise both the teachers and learners are been catered during break and lunch which makes learning conducive for both learners and teachers. We thank the donors and GlobalGiving for this great work they are doing. We are kindly requesting for food, textbooks and operation cost. This is because rent for our premises of the organization is a very big challenge for us we appeal for GlobalGiving and donors for support. The school was open on 26/9/2022 for third term and also the term is very short we are expecting to close 25/11/2022 for grade 6 and grade 8 to do their national exams   K.C.P.E and K.P.E.A. and we will close for third term and open again on January for first term on 23/1/2023. grade 4 and 5 they did agriculture practical in competent based curriculum the pictures are below grade 6 also did their national exams and all they perform above average we thank GlobalGiving and the donors for their support. We will also have our graduation on 20/11/2022 for grade 6,3 and pp2 they will go to next level according to the Kenya academic calendar.my name is" zuhura not my real name I thank GlobalGiving and the donors for funding the feeding program in Raise education Centre this is because in my place at home I only take one meal per day this is because my parents are very poor they can't afford 3 meals per but when am at school I eat three meals per day due to donors and GlobalGiving support. I was also requesting the donors and GlobalGiving if they can build for me and my parents a semi-permanent house because where we live with my parents the house is very pathetic Even when the rain rains it's raining in the house the picture of the house is below. I will appreciate if the donors can build for us. We really appreciate the donors and GlobalGiving but still we need more support for food, textbooks and operation cost and also, we need the donors to come and visit us in Kenya physical and have one on one with the children now there is no covid 19 restrictions tourist can come to Kenya we need to see the donors and GlobalGiving who supports us. Otherwise we thank you for the great job and God bless you abundantly.

We are also requesting for support of school uniform our vulnerable children have worn out uniform some don't have at all they are coming to school with home clothes we have 410 pupils and if we can get uniform for each pupil we will appreciate one pair is 150usd so it is 150* 410 pupils we need like 6500 usd. We raise education Centre we humble request if our donors can support any numbers of our pupils we will appreciate even is 20 pupils ,100 pupils 50 pupils 10 pupils according to your financial muscle or if you can support all the 410 pupils we will also appreciate. Raise education centre is still passing through alot of challenges due to the covid 19 pandemic outcome. Last term being the final education year the school was closed on 4/3/2022 with apopulation of 380 pupils.We did end year exams where by our vulnerable pupils from pp1 to grade 7 score above average.we really appreciate and thank the donors and GlobalGiving for their efforts to ensure our Lerner's always get food in the institution which has sustain them throughout the year and made them concentrate in class and as a result of the feeding program all the pupils got good results in their exams."My name is Rebecca Majuto,i am very happy to be admitted in Raise Education Centre,I have always disturb my guardian to take me to Raise Education Centre this is because all our neighbors they have been praising the community based Organization where by they eat alot of variety of food.where I was we did not have feeding program like in raise in my former school we were not taught c.b.c by the teachers but here in Raise education centre we always take porridge and snacks at Break and always been given lunch very healthy food and fruits.which has make me improve my performance last term I. Was number 1 in class .I thank the donors and GlobalGiving for full support by providing us food,variety of textbook and a comfortable desks where they make us study comfortable"This term the school was open on 25/4/2022 we were able to receive 55 new pupils this is due to the feeding program where by the donors and GlobalGiving have been making sure our children don't miss food." My Name is "James Mwenda .this is not my legal name I really want to thank the donors and GlobalGiving this is because since I joined raise education centre I have never Miss food.while I was at home my mother she is single and my father died .we live in the near by slums. In a one single room 10 by 10 meters.everday at home I eat one meal per day.and I was not going to school because of poverty, but now I thank God through the donors and GlobalGiving I have been able to be admitted in Raise education centre in std 4 and I now eat 3 meals in raise education centre.i thanks the donors and GlobalGiving be blessed abundantly now through the donors I will be able to achieve my dreams to become a doctor"I also want to request the donors if they can assist me and more families year to get a decent and hygiene home.
All the candidates who sat for K.C.P.E (Kenya certificate of primary Education) Exams were 40 and all of them scored above average of the pass mark we thanks the donors and GlobalGiving by supporting our candidate with food, Text books and a Comfortable environment which enable them to get good results.Thanks the donors and GlobalGiving we are still humble request for more support of food ,text books, education and operation cost where the children are squeezing themselves because of space no enough space due to the large number of vulnerable childrens due to the feeding program which is been supported by donors we thank donors." my name is" Kevin Ogao not her really name l scored 425 marks in K.c.p.e out of 500 this is because of the feeding program and enough text books by the donors and GlobalGiving I appreciate there work",but still I have challenge I have not join secondary school because of lack of school fees.i was requesting the donors and GlobalGiving to continue supporting me in high school this is because out of 40 candidates who sat for k.c.p.e.only 4 pupils have proceed with form 1.but 36 of them they have not join secondary school due to poverty .I was requesting for assistance or if possible each donor to take 1 or 2 pupils depending with his or her ability to pay secondary school fees to support him/her in high because am afraid our dreams may not be achieved due poverty . My name is Mama Wycliffe not her really name" I thank God for my only child admitted in Raise education centre am a widow and eating is aproblem at home we can't afford even a single meal per day, but in Raise education centre there is a feeding program where my son is very happy always is getting 3 meals per day which makes him concentrate in education and like school alot and very happy and satisfied and also pass exams.Thanks to the donors and GlobalGiving for great work be blessed".We are will start end term exams on 23/6/2022 and we are expecting to closed the school on 1/7/2022.we recieved The money from GlobalGiving and the donors on March where we bought food, textbooks and operation cost where we run the organization.we also request our donors and GlobalGiving to continue support us with food and operation cost which is very expensive due to the increase number of vulnerable this is the reason we want to purchase land and build permanent children home and school for them.on September we will have GlobalGiving little by little bonus from 12th September 2022 to 16th September 2022 50% donations. Match

Lastly we would like to invite our donors and GlobalGiving at large to visit us here in Kenya to have one on one with our vulnerable children They appreciate your support but they keep on asking when will this donor come to visit us. We still requesting donors for more support in food,desks , Operation cost and education for our children.
