Hello birds of prey supporters,
Since we last reported to you, we have had one of our released griffon vultures brought back to us by concerned members of the public who found it with an injured wing. They called the Israel Nature and Parks Authority who were able to identify it from its tag as one of our birds.
From the X-ray image above, you can see the wing injury. Fortunately this individual is doing well and can be rehabilitated and released back into the wild again. We hope that next time he will have a smoother journey!
In the meantime, we are approaching the breeding season and hope to be able to report next time on many eggs in our incubation center. We will keep you posted.
Thank you for your continued support of this important wildlife conservation project.
