Dear Friends and Supporters,
We are delighted to bring you more wonderful updates from our conservation team!
This season, our National Incubation Center continues to thrive: several more Griffon vulture chicks have successfully hatched and are being nurtured by dedicated foster parents in our Birds of Prey Aviary. Each new chick represents a precious step forward in strengthening wild populations of this endangered species.
At the same time, our new Lappet-faced Vulture exhibit has shown encouraging progress. The pair introduced earlier this year have now begun nest-building behavior—an important sign that they may breed in the coming season. This is a remarkable development for one of the world’s rarest and most threatened vultures.
These achievements remind us that every careful step—from incubation to release—helps ensure a future where these vital birds once again soar across the skies of our region.
We are deeply grateful for your ongoing support, which makes these conservation successes possible. Together, we are safeguarding not only the survival of these majestic vultures, but also the health of the ecosystems they sustain.
