Ramadan in Libya - An update from our team on the ground

Dear Friend,

I'm writing to you today with Libya heavy on my heart. Families who lost everything in the floods are still living in shelters, children going to sleep hungry night after night. And now, with Ramadan just around the corner, the weight of it all feels even heavier.

Thanks to your support, we've been on the ground distributing food parcels, clean water, and medical supplies to families barely holding on. Mothers who haven't eaten so their children could. Elderly too weak to stand. Orphans who just want someone to remember them.

Your donations tell these families they are not forgotten.

Now Ramadan is approaching. A month of mercy, of breaking bread together. But for so many in Libya, there will be no iftar meal. No warm food after a long day of fasting. Just empty plates and hungry children.

This Ramadan, SGI is working to provide hot iftar meals to families across Libya—widows, orphans, the displaced, the elderly. But we need you.

Your support means a family breaks their fast with dignity. A child sleeps with a full stomach. Someone in Libya knows that across the world, someone cared enough to help.
