Greetings to everyone.
We hope this update finds you all well!
In this update we thought we would include some photographs of some of the actual pumps you have provided with your kindness and generosity.
The monsoon for the first time has been, if not quite up the usual rainfall amounts, much better than the last two years of drought, and we hope the groundwater levels will have benefited.
This is what Pramilla Devi, mother of six children including four girls had to say," Before the new pump we had to carry water in pots and pans from a pool nearly a kilometre away. It was not so clean and often my children would fall ill" Now we have clean water right in the village, you can drink straight from the pump.. It has changed our whole lives!"
We would like to thank you for your support, and if you would like for example to hold an event to raise the $500 we need to install a pump and would to name it after someone just let us know by writing to india_peoplefirst@yahoo.com
