With your tremendous support and generous assistance, we continue to bring hope to families whose newborns are suffering from life-threatening diseases, such as the case of Malak, who was born with a serious condition known as Hemorrhagic Disease. This condition was evident from the beginning of her life, and the ongoing bleeding increased the risks associated with her life. Bruises appeared on various parts of her body.
The baby's condition was monitored, and she was given vitamin K to support blood clotting, intravenous fluids, and platelet transfusions. Her condition was carefully observed, and appropriate medical care was provided to control the bleeding and avoid serious complications. After 20 days of staying in the incubator, her condition stabilized, and she began to recover. She also gained more weight and currently weighs over 3 kilograms. She was discharged in good health and well-being to her home for the first time!
Your support transforms our hospitals in northern Syria into more than just places for advanced healthcare. They become spaces of hope and life for all sick children and families who lack resources and strength!
Continue this great and exceptional humanitarian work.
