A beneficiary woman visited Al-Ekhaa Specialized Hospital in north of Syria, and gave birth after five years into marriage during which she was unable to conceive. She had visited three hospitals in her area but she was rejected due to the low platelet count that she had.
After she was admitted to the surgical operations section in Al-Ekhaa Hospital, and following the management of her case and her successful delivery, the woman was checked by the medical staff to ensure of the improvement of her condition. They asked her what she would name her newborn baby, and surprisingly, she answered “I would name her SEMA”. The woman expressed that she liked this name and she was impressed by the work done and the level of care provided by Al-Ekhaa Hospital, which is supported by SEMA organization.
