The pandemic has worsened the health of the newborns, and increased the rate of neonatal deaths by 29% in middle and low-income countries, but this has not discouraged us from continuing our mission of saving young lives, providing compassionate care and contributing to the recovery of more premature infants in northern Syria.
Yesterday, the hearts of the medical caregivers at Al-Ikhaa Hospital were overwhelmed with happiness as they handed over a recovered newborn baby to his family after a successful journey of challenges and suffering.
The little soul was born weighing just one kilogram and began to grow every day with our increasing belief in the greatness of what we provide at Al Ekhaa Hospital.
Your continued support is considered a massive human investment in supporting pregnancy, childbirth and the first month of life. It has provided a four-fold benefit represented in: saving mothers and newborns, reducing disabilities, facilitating an optimal child development and providing lifelong well-being in one of the poorest and least secure areas for the lives of the most vulnerable groups. Thank you from the heart.
Your continued support means the continuation of saving lives and mending the broken hearts of parents. Your contribution ends disability and supports life.
