The first moments of our lives are our most vulnerable moments, and the closest either to life or death. We lost many newborns in Al-Ikhaa hospital although we were about to save them, like the baby called Manal who was born at the gestational age of 25 weeks by premature labor. After many attempts to save her life, we lost the girl after 12 days of hope and care, after we had lost her twin sister too, who died at the age of 48 hours.
We also have the case of the baby Muhammad, whose brother died due to a respiratory distress, while the former was destined to live, thanks to Allah, and the availability of precise medical equipment at Al-Ikhaa Hospital as well as the efforts of the medical staff who went through difficult hours before they could save his life.
In the world of newborns, we need to innovate more medical equipment and measures to save their lives being the most vulnerable at all. We do not want to lose more young lives due to lack of support, and we do not want to add to the catastrophe of the displaced families in the north.
You are the hotline that we contact every time in order to support the lives of thousands, and we are happy with your partnership and contribution. Let’s together double the efforts in order to save an important moment in the lives of the newborns.
We need you to make that "Moment of Life" a long and beautiful life for the children of wars in northern Syria.
