What is most distressing for parents is when their child is born sick, but this does not apply to the family of a child born in a camp in northern Syria, because the camp has already turned into a place of death and a cemetery for nearly 20 children so far. Therefore, when children are brought alive to the hospital, we cannot discharge them as we fear that they might die from the extreme cold inside the tent!
We, the children we care for, and their parents, are grateful to every donor who helped us through our previous campaigns. Your donations were the direct cause of saving more newborns through the expansion of a neonatal ward and an intensive care unit within our hospitals. Thank you from the heart.
We urge you again to be the lifeblood of the newborns so that we can keep them in our arms for a longer period and not risk leaving their little bodies exposed to possible death.
